There was a number of recreation options for the whole family, including indoor and outdoor theaters, a golf simulator, a nine-hole miniature golf course, shuffleboard, a full casino, as well as a number of programs to take care of the kids.

While the Ruby Princess is designed with couples in mind, there are options for everyone. For those looking for a traditional cruise experience there is the ubiquitous shuffleboard, or you can hit the tables at Gatsby’s Casino, while there are also opportunities for taking in first-run feature films at the indoor theater or topside at the “Movies Under the Stars” events.
For those under 18, there are a number of kid-friendly activities, so kids won’’t feel left out or stuck by the pool all day. There are three age-specific lounges, Princess Pelicans (ages 3 to 7), Shockwaves (ages 8-12), and Remix (ages 13-17). There is a youth center, a teen center, a video game arcade, and a splash pool. Events range from kids karaoke and pizza parties to arts and crafts and foosball tables.

Only the most luxurious goods made it onto the Ruby Princess. There are four boutiques just off the main atrium in the Piazza on decks 6 and 7. You can buy Princess Cruise souvenirs, apparel, watches, jewelery, accessories, fragrances, toys, booze, cigarettes, or items from the apothecary. Other Activities
The Ruby Princess offers a little extra entertainment, as well as an on-board arcade, two movie theaters, and a casino. Out on the decks, they hold “Movies Under the Stars” where movies newly out on DVD are shown. You can catch the same movie listings at the indoor Princess Theater as well. Movies shown at these locations are available in your cabin the following day.
