Freedom of the Seas’ crew is very helpful and friendly. Waiters in the main dining room remembered our food preferences and tried to accommodate accordingly. The stewards can be almost invisible if you want them to be, but it’’ also no problem to ask favors from them (and they will try to get it done ASAP). If you have a favorite venue, it’s likely you’ll become friendly with the staff in that area by the end of the voyage. Still, Royal Caribbean’s claim that “everybody will know your name” is a bit of an exaggeration.
